Alumni Association Advisory Council


A primary function of the University of Mobile Alumni Council is to act as a voice for the Alumni Association to the University, via the Office of Alumni Relations. The council’s goal is to promote the university and its alumni by fostering relationships with fellow graduates for the benefit of continuing the mission of the university and sharing feedback and suggestions with the Office of Alumni Relations.

New members will be nominated and elected by the current council members, with a simple majority vote necessary for placement. Members will serve one-year terms, and may serve up to three consecutive terms if reelected. After three consecutive terms of service, council members must roll-off for one year before being eligible to serve as a member again.

Qualifications for Eligibility

Must be a graduate of Mobile College / University of Mobile

Must be in good standing with the University of Mobile and the community at large

Must have submitted a completed application for membership

Must be committed to supporting the University of Mobile

Must not be related / married to someone currently serving on the Alumni Council

Must demonstrate evidence of exemplifying the Christian beliefs, mission, and principles of the University of Mobile
