The Legacy Fountain Courtyard Brick Campaign is a new initiative to enhance one of the university's most cherished landmarks. This unique fundraising effort invites alumni and friends of the university to join those original donors by purchasing personalized bricks that will pave the way to enhancing the communal space known as The Legacy Fountain Courtyard.

When you join the effort by purchasing an engraved brick, you make your permanent mark in University of Mobile history. Each brick, engraved with a name or message, not only will contribute financially to the restoration project but will symbolize the individual stories and connections that make the University of Mobile a remarkable place.

Why is the university renovating the fountain courtyard area?Time and weather has taken its toll on this beloved landmark, making its enhancement a top priority. This includes restoring the communal space known as The Legacy Fountain Courtyard. This space will include Miss University of Mobile 2024's initiative, "The Growth Project", where daylilies will be planted in the area.

What is happening to the current bricks at the fountain? From the beginning of this project, it has been our top priority to honor those first benefactors by maintaining the identity of their names as inscribed on the existing bricks. Initially, we were concerned that such a project might damage these bricks. However, after qualified evaluation we are delighted to be able to preserve them without harm. So, as we begin adding newly purchased bricks alongside the existing ones, our donors will have the assurance that they are joining a distinguished group of supporters and continuing the legacy they started many years ago.
